The first Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Egypt in 1928 By Hassan al-Banna, and Egypt is still considered the center of the movement,In these days Muslim Brotherhood have a significant impact on the political life in Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Syria and other counters.

In 1942, during World War II action, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood Hassan al-Banna establish a branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in eastern Jordan and Palestine with support of the King Abdallah I"alla yerhamo" of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and also hosted the leaders of the Moslem Brotherhood pursuit of the Royal government of Egypt.

In the 1950s of the last century His Majesty King Hussein "Alla yerhamo" ,support the Muslim Brotherhood against political opponents specially president Jamal Abd Al-naser. In 1957, the Jordanian government banned all parties , communism and socialism and the Baath Party. These were supported by outside Jordan and have agenda meet the external enemies of Jordan, However, the Muslim Brotherhood Party exempted from the ban. The Jordanian government has not only allowing the Muslim Brotherhood to work in Jordan, but also help the Muslim Brotherhood to be the single party and the dominant forces in Jordan.
So with the support of the Jordanian government the Muslim Brotherhood beome stronger in Jordan day by day.

Today, in 2006 the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan became stronger , and became the largest party in the Jordanian parliament.

To be realistic I must recognize that the Muslim Brotherhood Movement helped greatly the Government in achieving many of its goals, and that our government used the Muslim Brotherhood manytimes to achieve its goals, while the government of Jordan help them to be that strong party we see today.
